In April 2004, the Foundation for the Philippine Environment (FPE) established the Fostering People’s Education, Empowerment and Enterprise or FPE3 with the aim to help sustain the conservation efforts in selected key biodiversity areas in the Philippines by means of implementing resource mobilization activities. Over the years, it had launched programs in promoting responsible tourism through its educational tours being offered by schools and private sectors. FPE3 had also ventured in forest rehabilitation projects and social enterprises in partnership with the private sectors.


To upscale its fundraising activities and other resource mobilization efforts, FPE3 is looking for a full-time PROJECT ASSISTANT who will lead the planning and implementation of effective communication and marketing strategies to promote FPE3.

II. Major Functions

The Project Assistant shall perform the following tasks:


  • Identify effective marketing strategies to promote and sell FPE3 projects and product mix
  • Handles management of eco-store in cooperation with Finance Officer
  • Prepare donor campaign plans for prospective donors
  • Promote programs of FPE3 and facilitate donor campaign to support Partners for Forests project
  • Helps in developing product mix and merchandise for the Foundation
  • Shall identify & design communication strategies that will best reach the target audience and donors of FPE3
  • Shall coordinate or partner with FPE and other institutions in the development of communication campaigns and strategies as necessary
  • Assist FPE3 team in preparing documents & materials for BOT meeting & related meetings
  • Provides appropriate support in the implementation of Partners for Forest Projects, including preparation of relevant reports
  • Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time


III. Work Location

The Project Assistant will be based in the office of the Foundation for the Philippine Environment in 77 Matahimik St. Teacher’s Village, Diliman, Quezon City. He or she will report to the Program Coordinator.


He/She is also expected to be able to travel outside Metro Manila when needed.



The applicant should meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • University Degree on communication, advertising, business, social enterprise and other relevant courses
  • Demonstrated experience in launching communication campaigns utilizing traditional and digital media
  • Have been involved in fundraising, marketing or social enterprise activities
  • With significant private sector engagement
  • Demonstrated presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Fit to travel outside Metro Manila
